When done correctly, fix and flip investing can be very profitable. However, it also requires a lot of capital and expertise. This is where Coastal Capital comes in. For your fix and flip project, CCI provides funding for the initial purchase and renovation of your investment project. We provide initial funding at the closing with additional funding provided in installments as the renovations (if any) are completed.

As is the case with all of our loans and funding projects, our fix and flip loans are only provided for investment real estate purchases ONLY. We provide funding for:

What documents do you require for a fix & flip loan?

​

At CCI, we make things very simple. In addition to completing our online application, we will ask for a 1) rehab budget, 2) a summary of previous real estate experience (we also have no problem with new real estate investors), 3) corporate entity documents, 4) Photo ID for Guarantors, and 5) Two Months of Bank Statements.

Will I need any cash of my own to get approved for a fix & flip loan?

​

We typically require that borrowers contribute 10% to 20% of the purchase price. Coastal Capital wants to be your financial partner in your real estate projects and the small down payment requirements allows each of us to manage risk accordingly.

Is there a prepayment penalty?

​

No. We understand that the quicker you are able to complete your real estate project the better it is for you and the more money you should make so we will not add any additional fees for completing your project before a specified term.

​

How much time do I have before I have to pay the money back?

​

The nature of fix & flip loans is short-term in nature. Typical term for our loans is 6 to 12 months. We have extended terms available if needed. We will review the nature of your project and can help you determine an appropriate term which includes time on the market if necessary.
